Reality is Fake

The last preliminary fight took place on the Ultimate Fighter, last night. Tell me if this sounds familiar. Forrest has 6 guys advancing, Quentin has 2. Sounds like last season, doesn't it? The semi-final fights were announced and not too much happened on the show. Forrest was given a crappy haircut by one of his fighters, because he lost a bet. Forrest netted Quentin. Quentin sprayed Forrest with a squirt gun, fun stuff. Aside from watching The Ultimate Fighter, I also watched A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila and The Real World: Hollywood. I only watched them, because I was BORED OUT OF MY MIND! Seriously, people need to smarten up and grow up. A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila's basically about this bi-sexual girl that's looking to hook up with either a guy or girl. How stupid is that? The worst part is that this is season #2. I don't know what happened on the first season, but if they're on a second season, something's messed up. All of these guys and girls are literally fighting for this chick who really isn't worth it. Still, I have two favorites and one is a guy, the other's a girl. I want Bo (the guy) or Glitter (the girl) to win this pathetic excuse for a reality show. On The Real World: Hollywood, there's this cocky black guy that gets on everyone's nerves including the viewers. I actually know someone like him from my college. Man, he's pathetic. There is no competition on this reality show. It's just a bunch of guys and girls living together and pissing each other off. It's funny, because these people are stealing their roommates girls or guys, depending on the gender. These people really need to grow up. The immaturity rating is at an all-time high. Yet, we watch this crap. It's not going away anytime soon. Basically, all the girls in the house, I like. The guys are freakin' pathetic. I can't think of one guy in that house that I'm a big fan of. I'll watch the next episode, because I wanna see the cocky bastard get his ass kicked. That was my Wednesday for the most part. My Tuesday didn't go as planned either. I was supposed to meet this beautiful girl. It wasn't a surprise or a secret. She KNEW that she was supposed to meet me. Her friend tried hooking me up with her. Well, she never showed up. That put her friend in a bad mood and Robin wasn't too pleased either. It was still better than sitting home, but I put in a lot of time and effort. Finally, we went over to where she works. The plan we came up with, looked good on paper, but when we actually went through with it...well...it could've gone a lot better. There was no formal introduction, which might have made things better. In fact, the plan was to NOT tell her that I was the guy she was supposed to meet that day. Well, that didn't work too well. She STILL doesn't know it was me. Also, last week her grandparents died. So, our timing was way off. As of right now, I don't know what's going on. I don't know if I should pursue this one or call my boy, Cody's girlfriend and see what she has for me. Cody's girl, Kelcie said she has a girl for me to meet as well. Right now, Kelcie's doing a lot better than Robin and our friends are, but it's not their fault. Hopefully, I'll know what the hell is going on, next week.

Things Are Heating Up.

Team Forrest gained two victories on The Ultimate Fighter. Quentin's frustrated as hell. He strikes me as a guy that doesn't like to lose even if he's not the one getting his ass kicked. The last preliminary fight is next week, then we move into the quarter-finals. The first guy that lost that night, threw a temper tantrum. I wish some of these guys would grow the hell up for the love of god. He kept bitching that he wasn't even knocked out. He claims he was consious the entire time. Bullshit, that knee to the jaw dropped him. It wasn't a spectacular fight by any means, but the ending helped. Not only was he throwing a tantrum, but he was talking to the camera about how his kids are gonna watch the show and what would they think of him for losing? So, throwing a temper tantrum is all the much better? If I were his kids, I'd be ashamed of him, because he's acting like a freakin' eight-year-old. After the second fight, everyone thought it would go to a third round. When it was announced that the judges came to a decision, Forrest said very loudly that his guy would fight a third round. Quentin agreed that the fight should go to a third round. In my opinion, they're right. Quentin's guy won the first round, Forrest's guy won the second round. The judges had it that Forrest's guy won the fight. Quentin got pissed and said that he guarentees that his fight with Forrest won't come to a decision. Overall, Quentin and Forrest don't have any hatred for each other. Not like Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock did. Same with Jens Pulver and B.J Penn. They sure as hell didn't hate each other like Matt Serra and Matt Hughes. Quentin's just frustrated. I don't like losing either, but I'm not qualified to coach any kind of sport. The show's starting to display signs of having a few fireworks go off. The preview shows Forrest flipping out, which is unique, because I've never seen Forrest when he's pissed. He's usually the comic relief. Quentin does this howling thing before he enters the octagon to fight, but on the show, he seems to like to have fun and stuff. At the end of the day though, it's not about having fun, it's about coaching those guys to win a six figure contract. I have a feeling Matt Brown will be this year's winner.

Team Rampage Finally Gets One.

Last night on the Ultimate Fighter, Matt Brown defeated Jeremy May to no one's surprise. That wasn't as entertaining as how Forrest Griffen has been picking his fights. He's been using a coin. Basically, he flips a coin and whoever gets heads or tails, fights that week. Quentin Jackson didn't believe Forrest when he told him, but it's true. To me, that's freakin' hillarious. What's even more entertaining, is that Forrest has been winning the fights so far. However, Team Rampage has a promising fighter coming up. Dan Cramer from Team Rampage TKO'd his opponent in the second round of the second fight. Quentin couldn't have been happier. I still believe that his fighter last week was screwed out of a victory, but no matter. Forrest took defeat gracefully. Then again, he's 4-1 against Quentin. Hmmm...I think I've said that before. Oh yeah, when Team Hughes finally picked up a victory in season 6. I still believe that if Matt Hughes got lucky. He only had two good guys while Serra had an entire team of them. After a while, I predict who I think will win the entire thing. Last year, I WANTED John to win it. But, I PREDICTED Mac to win it overall, which he did. Season 5, I WANTED and PREDICTED Nate Diaz to win it. He did, but I still didn't think much of his attitude. Season 3 had two winners. I WANTED and PREDICTED Ed Herman would win it, but he didn't. I WANTED Josh Haynes to win it, but Michael Bisbing beat him. Which, was fine, because I like Bisbing too. Season 2 also had two winners. I WANTED Luke Cummo to win it, but he lost to Sam Stevenson, who acts like Matt Hughes a little too much for my taste. The second winner, I WANTED AND PREDICTED Rashad Evans and he won it. He had a problem with Matt Hughes too, so of course he was my boy. The first Season also had two winners. I WANTED Chris Leban to win one of them, but he didn't even make it to the finals. He got screwed, due to a cut above his eye. One of the guys I PREDICTED to win, was Diego Sanchez. Everybody and their brother just knew he'd win. The second fight, I liked both guys, but I was for Team Couture, so I WANTED Stephan Bonner to win it. Obviously Forrest Grifen won, but BOTH of them got six figure contracts. This season, I WANT Dan Cramer to win it, but I PREDICT Matt Brown will be this season's Ultimate Fighter.

Team Forrest: 3 Team Rampage: 0

Another one of Forrest's guys have advanced in the tournament. In my opinion, Team Rampage got screwed. Quentin's guy was trying to inflict more damage. He was working his ass off, but he has nothing to show for it. Quentin went on a little "rampage" (no pun intended) of his own. I really can't blame him. His fighter got screwed. It's not like these guys are fighting for the first time on the show either. They had to fight for their spot in the house. Somehow, the judges always manage to pick the wrong person to win the fights if it comes to a decision. Personally, that fight was boring as hell. It reminded me too much of Josh Koschek's fights from Season 1. He'd just take his opponent down and hold him there. He wouldn't do anything else. The guy's also a first class asshole right next to Hughes. The next UFC PPV is gonna be big. BJ Penn, who coached on Season 5 is fighting, a guy named Keith Jardine from Season 2 is fighting, and Tito Ortiz, who coached Season 3 is fighting someone who's undefeated. I think Season 3 was the most heated season that the UFC has had. Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock were the coaches and they HATED each other. There were a couple times that they almost got into it on the show. Surprisingly, they were able to wait until the PPV. Ortiz rocked Shamrock by TKO in the first 24 seconds of the fight. Getting back to Season 7, the next fight has already been announced. Jeremy May vs. Matt Brown. Not only is it an elimination fight, but it's a grudge fight. Jeremy May has been annoying everyone in the house. As a "harmless prank", he put lemon juice in Matt's chewing tobacco. Matt's a no-nonsense kind of guy and he really didn't appreciate it. I don't blame Matt for being pissed. First of all, you don't take anything that doesn't belong to you. Second of all, you don't tamper with anything that's not yours. Jeremy did both. Usually, when a fight is announced, the two fighters shake hands. These guys just stared each other down. Of course Jeremy thought it was a big joke and gestured that Matt wasn't that tall. Matt had a look that said he was ready to kill. Jeremy was smiling for the most part. I know this much, if Matt were staring at me like that, I'd be running in the opposite direction. It showed a few highlights for the next episode. One of Matt's teammates told the camera: "I'm predicting Matt winner by....murder." He definitely looked like he was capable of such brutality. So, things are finally start to heat up inside the house. Tensions are rising. Personally, if Jeremy wins this fight, it'll be due to a lucky shot or submission. I'm predicting that Matt will win this fight and it won't go to a decision.
