When Reality Was Real

This week hasn't been too bad. In fact, things have been pretty good. The impact from Cody's Birthday party stayed with me for most of it. Thanks to Chris (and a little effort from me), Dan and Bridgette are dating. That's really good for him. Dan deserves to be happy. Although I've been friends with Chris for years, I've really come to respect Dan a great deal. We have a few important similarities, which is what I like. Even though I promised myself that I wouldn't let myself get sucked back into that ridiculous reality show, A Double Shot At Love, I did end up watching it near the end. That's Seth's fault. Man, this season was even more ridiculous than the last season. Two twins are "looking for love". At the Finale, both of them "fall in love" with the same guy. Big surprise there. The worst part about it is that they led a beautiful single mom on throughout the entire show. Well, the guy they both "loved" is a moron. He picked one of them and the other twin cried and became jealous. Again....BIG FREAKIN' SURPRISE THERE! I think both the twins are immature, shallow, sluts just like Tila Tequila. They're so freakin' rediculous that I want so badly to find them and scream at them about how they're immature, shallow, little girls that only wanted their fifteen minutes of fame. I talked to Denna, today. Because her husband's a moron, she might not be coming up to New York, this week. There was a time that I was bitter towards her. I was disappointed in myself as well. I felt like I had been played. It's happened before. I've said things that I didn't mean at the time. I've apologized for them and I've also received several apologies from Denna for everything. While we were talking, she showed me a few videos of her and her husband. I'm not a big fan of her husband due to jealousy and the fact that I haven't really heard good things about him. Still, as she's showing me these videos, every memory that I ever had, just hit me. The thing about Denna was that she wasn't "the one that got away." She was the one that left. I didn't approve of the choice that she made, but it wasn't my choice to make. After talking to her and watching those videos, made me miss her incredibly. Hell, even if she does come back to New York, things won't be like they were. There'll be barriers that weren't there before. Still, it kills me how close we were to dating. It's frustrating as hell to get so close and have the same thing happen every freakin' time. Danny's party is tomorrow. Hopefully, there will be girls at this one that aren't too young or taken. Hell, just as long as tomorrow's party was as good as Cody's Birthday party, I'll be very satisfied.

New Years Day 2009.

I've been home for a few weeks now. A lot has gone on. I'll start with all that's been happening with me. Due to a lot of factors that I don't feel like getting into at this point, I'm not going back to Cortland. Tomorrow, I'm gonna re-transfer to BCC. I made a lot of stupid decisions, this year. Most them have already came back to bite me in the ass. As much as I loved it at Cortland, it feels right for me to go back to BCC. I have unfinished business over there. I can finally get my associates' degree. Also, I'll have more time to hang out with my friends. Stacey's leaving New York in March, so it'll be great to be able to spend a couple more days with her until then. Steph's coming home in 12 days and she owes me a day to hang out. Denna and I straightened things out, so the bitterness has left me. She's coming back to New York for a while. I haven't really hung out with the people that I wanted yet, but there'll be plenty of time. I have hung out with Seth, Danny, Cody, and Kelcie. Kelcie and I talked over the phone a couple days ago. She's really upset at the fact that Bridgette's back in New York and keeps on calling Cody. She's even more upset at the fact that Cody defends Bridgette. I can see where she's coming from along with everyone else. She's voiced her concerns to me, Jay, and Danny. Kelcie asked me a question that caught me off guard. She asked me if Cody ever cheated on her, could she cheat on him with me. I told her that I'd get back to her on that one. She says that she didn't mean it. She said she was joking, but I'm not so sure about that. Kelcie's a beautiful girl and Denna was originally trying to hook her up with me. But, I couldn't do that to Cody. He may be making some stupid decisions, but I wouldn't be able to do that. I'm not sure if I would've been next in line if Kelcie wasn't dating Cody. Still, they're both good friends of mine. This week, I'm at Seth's place. On Tuesday, we watched an episode of that Double Shot of Love reality show. It's just as bad as when Tila Tequila was the host. This time, there's two twins that are both looking for love. Again, it's pathetic and of course I'll be tuning in next Tuesday. Last night, was New Year's Eve. We had a small party at Seth's again. His brother Aaron got drunk and threw all the party snacks at me. It's been a while since Aaron's gotten that drunk. Today has been boring. Tomorrow, Seth and I are gonna do something to make up for the fact that he couldn't do anything for his birthday, today. We don't know what yet, but our morning's pretty booked. As far as my resolution's concerned, it's pretty simple. My resolution for 2009 is to work out and get in shape. It's about time I worked on my image a bit more. Who knows? It could go a long way. 2008 was a pretty good year. Hopefully, 2009 will be even better.

Reality's Not America.

Due to the controversy of the finale of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila, there was a special show on that gave the three of them the chance to confront each other. They had Bo and Kristy on seperately, then they had both of them on. Obviously, there was no tension there. Then, the real fun began when Bo finally got to ask Tila why she didn't choose him. Her answer wasn't really good enough. Actually, she just looked more immature and shallow. Nothing out of the ordinary there. The real entertainment when Tila contronted Kristy about her actions on the season finale. Kristy humiliated Tila in front of the world whether she meant to or not. She gave Tila exactly what she deserved. During the confrontation, Tila called Kristy a fake bitch. If that's not calling the kettle black, then I don't know what is. Kristy's rebuttal was that Tila did the exact same thing to 60 people. Of course Kristy's right. Tila just couldn't handle it when it was done to her. It's too bad that Tila doesn't read this, because I'd love to put it in writing that the only fake bitch on that freakin' show is Tila Tequila. Tila's so freakin' stupid for looking for true love on a reality show. Did she honestly think that she'd find her sole mate by rejecting 29 people? No, the only thing that Tila wanted, was attention and she got it. Overall, the confrontation disappointed me. The host looked like a jackass at the end, because Tila walked off the stage, because she couldn't handle the truth. In fact, she called Kristy a few harsh names, then walked her skanky ass off the stage. Kristy flipped out and said: "You wanna know the real truth? Tila's a bitch!" All I have to say about that is GOOD FOR YOU, KRISTY! Seriously, Kristy has my admiration and respect for giving the stupid, shallow, immature bitch exactly what she deserved. I haven't watched The Real World: Hollywood yet, but as soon as I do, I'll put up an update for that. As for the past few days with me, I'm starting to mentally lose it. I think I have a case of cabin fever. The only places I really go are to work and then back to the house. It's like the storyline from the Simpsons movie. The government put a huge dome over Springfield. So, you had Springfield, then you had the rest of the world. That's what it feels like here. I talked to Danny yesterday about it. I felt better afterwards. The hardest part is that the guys I work with, don't really get me. I'm talking about the virgin situation. I'm waiting for the right one and the right moment. I won't know that until I get married. I have no interest in getting laid just for the sake of getting laid. They don't quite understand that and it's hard to be around people like that. Don't get me wrong, they're cool as hell. It's just that they can't relate to me. We had another party at the house again. This time, there were about 30+ people here. There were three girls at the party that I point-blank wanted to get to know more. One of them got too drunk, threw up, and fell asleep in the bedroom next to mine. Another one, I sort of got to know, but she doesn't drink alcohol, however I did get her soda. Still, I didn't reach that connection that I wanted. However, the third girl was one of the new ones that I had just met a few hours ago. She's from Thailand and she's VERY gorgeous. So, we're hanging out in my bedroom. Then, after talking a bit, she allows me to rub her back. While I was rubbing her back, she said that she was surprised by how Americans really act. It turns out that she thought ALL AMERICANS were based on the ones that she sees on MTV. She was pleasantly surprised to learn that's not the case. Her words reminded me of a song called Hollywood's Not America. MTV basically degrades Americans by the crap that they produce. In a way, it really irritates me, because I'm nothing like the people shown on MTV. I'm not immature, I'm not shallow, I don't degrade men and women like they do. There's assholes all around the world. It's important that no one judge all the people in one race based on how a person from that race acts. I'm a straight-up gentleman. Hell, I'm probably the last of my kind. Whenever I take a girl on a date, I PAY FOR EVERYTHING! If she attempts to pay for anything, I wave it away and I pay for it, myself. Hell, my date with Ashley in 2005 to see WWE RAW Live on TV was the best $132 I ever spent. I open doors for girls, I pull out their chairs for them. If they look cold, I offer them my jacket. If I'm talking to a girl in a bar, I buy her a drink or two. So, as a reward for being a gentleman, she gave me a back rub as well. Man, she's very good at them. In Thailand, they teach them right. Then, we returned to the party where some idiot, locked the bathroom door with no one inside. Someone kicked it in and we fixed it the next morning. Overall, the party was a blast. I just wish some of my boys from home could make one. I do miss my boys...and my girls...and my family, but I need this job. I had to make some sacrifices, but they'll pay off in the end. In two weeks, I'm taking a weekend off and going home. I'll still have to return for a couple more weeks, but just being home for two and a half days will take a lot of the stress off. I might have said this already, but I'll repeat it again. They didn't NEED me, but they hired me, because of the connections I have. If that's not enough, I feel like I'm not pulling my share of the weight. I'm still good with the guys, but I don't feel like I'm on their level. My comrade from Russia tells me everyday that I'm a good man. It's very encouraging to hear that. But, at the same time, I wish I could do better, but they don't really need me. They have enough guys with more experience than me. They treat me good and everything, but I feel bad asking for days off. Hell, my boss MADE ME take this coming Tuesday off. I'd prefer to take Friday off to see the Dark Knight, but what are you gonna do? I'm working on an alternative way to see it. This weekend's family weekend at the camp and Cody said he's thinking of coming up on Sunday like he promised. So, things will get better. I've been in harder situations before. I'll just suck it up for another couple of weeks, then I'll hang out with my boys again. Maybe some of my girls too.

What Goes Around...Comes Around.

The finale for A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila 2 happened, last Tuesday. I thought for sure that Bo would be the one she picks. Unfortunately, Tila's still a shallow, immature, dumb, bitch. She decided to choose Kristy, who TRIED SEVERAL TIMES to tell Tila that she wasn't sure if she was ready for such a big commitment. So, when Tila told Kristy that she still had a shot at love and asked if she was interested, Kristy TURNED HER DOWN! I swear it, I never laughed so hard in my life. I was dying. Tila got a taste of her own medicine. She felt what everyone else felt when she turned them down. News flash, bitch. If you're looking for love, a dumbass reality TV show ain't the place to find it. I read the message boards on the MTV website. Some of them actually made good sense. There were a lot of "Tila, you choose the wrong people. What you need to do is call up Bo and beg for a second chance." Screw that. Tila doesn't DESERVE to be with Bo. There was one comment on the message board that I really did like. Basically, it said that Tila broke Bo's heart. Why would he give Tila another chance? Basically, that's like saying: "the one I want to be with, rejected me, so I'm going for second best now." That person was absolutely right. It's insulting. Bo can and will find a hell of a lot better than Tila. The only part that sucks, is the guy got his heart broken by that shallow, immature, little girl. Now, onto The Real World: Hollywood. Man, I don't know where to begin. I guess I'll start with Will. What a scumbag that guy is. Everyone was sent to a five day vacation in Mexico. They started drinking and Will starts making out with that Brittany slut. The girl's not even that attractive. Then, Will started to think of the repercussions. He has this girl, Janelle back in L.A. Brittany has a boyfriend from somewhere. Both of them just cheated on their spouses. Will kind of saved face with me when he called Janelle up and told her what happened. However, he lost my respect again for having a four-person orgy as soon as he got home. Then, Janelle decides that she wanted to talk to him face to face. So, she's giving him the 3rd degree when he excuses himself. He goes to the bathroom to "fake cry". He even admitted to the camera that he can fake tears. WHAT A SCUMBAG! The worst part about it is that Janelle fell for his crying act. They're not together, but they are friends. Sooner or later, they'll get back together. Brittany's a freakin' coward. She told the camera and Will that she's gonna tell her boyfriend, but when he arrived, she backed down. She claims that she'll tell him after she goes back home, but I doubt that. She's a grimy slut and a coward. Now, onto the other girls in the house. The one girl that kind of annoys me, is Sarah. She's one of those "innocent little church girls" that isn't innocent at all. She's very judgmental and thinks she's better than everyone else. Before I go any further, last episode, Brianna finds out there's an arrest warrant out for her. I have no clue what it's about, but I don't care. Brianna's alright in my book. During one of the dinners in Mexico, Sarah makes a stupid comment about Brianna's arrest warrant. Naturally, Brianna flips out on her and I don't blame her. No wonder everyone found it hillarious when Sarah got completely drunk last week and was puking all over the place. She was being humbled. There's one last episode left of both reality shows. Tila's show WOULD be over, but due to the unique circumstances, certain people *cough* BO! *cough* are gonna be able to confront those that humiliated them. Bo's gonna confront Tila and Tila's gonna confront Kristy. I can't freakin' wait. Especially for the Tila/Kristy part of the show. Is there gonna be a season 3? Yeah, but am I gonna watch it? Unsure yet. Real World's a possibility too. Dammit, I got hooked on this crap. Oh well, at least I'll be very entertained and amused.

The Unreal World.

I caught the second showing of The Real World: Hollywood. This episode was even more amusing than the others. This guy, Will seems to have a problem sticking with one girl. He says that he only wants one girl, but he flirts around with others. There were two new roommates that were added in this episode. One of them was a dude, who seems alright. The other is a flirtatious girl. She was immediately attracted to Will and the two flirted constantly. Here's the best part of this situation. Both of them have significant others. Will started to back off, but then he tried to act like he's done no wrong. I'm sorry, but he's just as guilty as she is. I think both of them are disloyal little bitches. Still, I'm no angel. It's not the loyalty part that's the problem. It's the fact that I was doing something similar like this back towards the end of March and all through April. It all has to do with Denna. She was attracted to me, but she also liked this Keegan guy. At the time, she was single. Had I known that I was in a competition, I would've tried harder. Instead, she's dating this Keegan guy and trying to hook me up with Kelcie. It was a half-assed effort on her part. That and Kelcie was running with a bad crowd. Now, Kelcie's dating Cody. Around spring break, Denna came to watch WrestleMania 24 with me. After Marcy loosened her up with some shots, things started to heat up. We went down to get her camera, but before she opened the door, she leaned in and we kissed. We did that all night. Kissing led into cuddling, which led into other things. She was being disloyal to Keegan. However, I was reaping the rewards, so I didn't mind it. My conscience went on vacation. Hers did as well. However, hers came back. Mine didn't. We finally stopped doing stuff like that in May. Now, everything's coming back to bite us in our asses. Scott never came to fix the phone, so I haven't gotten a hold of Cody yet. As soon as I do, I'll find out what's going on. Until then, there's not too much I can do. Work wasn't that bad, today. There's this one guy, Stevie. He's about 43 years old. I don't know what it is, but I get bad vibes from him. The thing is, I don't know if he's just busting our balls or if he's just being a prick. My boss, Louie on the other hand, is freakin' awesome. Last night, I met several beautiful girls. I remember some names, but not all of them. I'd like to get to know them better. Some of them I'm farther with than others. If Cody were here, he'd tell me to read the damn books. He found these books about getting women and more importantly, getting laid. Well, I have no interest in getting laid yet, but I do have an interest in getting a girl. I only need one. Two many will lead to headaches. I'm taking June 30th off to take my road test. The third time's the charm. It looks like I'll only have to take one day off, which is great. I won't have to deal with the transportation bullshit that I usually have to put up with. My grandfather said he'd take me back home whenever I needed to. Good thing he offered, because I have a lot of fun plans in July. Things are going alright. Not good, not bad, just alright. If I'm lucky, things will get even better.

A Whole New World, A Whole New Reality

On the Ultimate Fighter, Jesse Taylor has advanced to the finals. The semi-finals are tonight, but I'm gonna miss them. I found a job for the summer. I started last Tuesday. I'm working Maintenance at a summer camp called French Woods. Seth could've worked with me, but he's too much of a lazy ass. Before I left, my parents were up my ass about it. They had a few concerns, but I can take care of business while working here. I'm staying at Scott Schaefer's house. His only rule is that the place remain clean. He doesn't care who I invite up or anything. He's gonna get the phone working tomorrow. As for the people I work with, they're pretty awesome. Aaron, who I met a few weeks ago, doesn't live to far from where I'm staying and he's treated me like gold. This is probably one of the best places I've worked for. Ron Schaefer hasn't been too harsh, but I know what Scott was talking about when he said that earning his father's respect was hard. He's been polite towards me, but whenever I call him sir or thank him for his time, he shows no acknowledgment. Still, he hasn't said anything harsh in my direction. As nice as the house is, it's extremely empty and I have no DVD player yet. So, I spend most of my time at the camp. I'm meeting new people, keeping in touch with my family at home. It's not bad at all. I eat at the camp and pretty-much do everything there. The only thing that I'll have to learn is how to do laundry. I'm still watching a lot of pathetic reality shows. So far on A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila 2, Bo's still in the running and Jay's history. Thank god. Jay was everything that Bo said he is. A loud, obnoxious, jackass. I loved it when Tila eliminated him. He pushed things over and had a bitch fit. It was hilarious to watch. Bo's in the finals of that ridiculous show and despite the fact that I think Tila's shallow and immature, I hope he wins it. I know things won't work out if he does win, but it will symbolize that nice guys don't always finish last and he has potential to find true love. By the way...JERSEY SUCKS! Now, onto The Real World: Hollywood. Greg, who's another cocky, obnoxious asshole, was kicked off. This Joey guy returned from rehab and has since been bitching about wanting to drink. The roommates didn't make things easy for him. Going out every night, coming back trashed at 2 AM in the morning. In the end, Joey also left and thank god for that. What a whining bitch that guy was. Now, onto my own reality show. I talked to Denna today. Things aren't going well. Apparently, my boy, Cody has been spreading rumors, which I don't know are true or not. I really could care less about that. What I do care about is the fact that he may still be telling Bridgette about the stuff that Denna and I did. I really hope that's not the case. He should know better. Still, I'm gonna talk to him about it as soon as the phones are fixed.

Reality is Fake

The last preliminary fight took place on the Ultimate Fighter, last night. Tell me if this sounds familiar. Forrest has 6 guys advancing, Quentin has 2. Sounds like last season, doesn't it? The semi-final fights were announced and not too much happened on the show. Forrest was given a crappy haircut by one of his fighters, because he lost a bet. Forrest netted Quentin. Quentin sprayed Forrest with a squirt gun, fun stuff. Aside from watching The Ultimate Fighter, I also watched A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila and The Real World: Hollywood. I only watched them, because I was BORED OUT OF MY MIND! Seriously, people need to smarten up and grow up. A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila's basically about this bi-sexual girl that's looking to hook up with either a guy or girl. How stupid is that? The worst part is that this is season #2. I don't know what happened on the first season, but if they're on a second season, something's messed up. All of these guys and girls are literally fighting for this chick who really isn't worth it. Still, I have two favorites and one is a guy, the other's a girl. I want Bo (the guy) or Glitter (the girl) to win this pathetic excuse for a reality show. On The Real World: Hollywood, there's this cocky black guy that gets on everyone's nerves including the viewers. I actually know someone like him from my college. Man, he's pathetic. There is no competition on this reality show. It's just a bunch of guys and girls living together and pissing each other off. It's funny, because these people are stealing their roommates girls or guys, depending on the gender. These people really need to grow up. The immaturity rating is at an all-time high. Yet, we watch this crap. It's not going away anytime soon. Basically, all the girls in the house, I like. The guys are freakin' pathetic. I can't think of one guy in that house that I'm a big fan of. I'll watch the next episode, because I wanna see the cocky bastard get his ass kicked. That was my Wednesday for the most part. My Tuesday didn't go as planned either. I was supposed to meet this beautiful girl. It wasn't a surprise or a secret. She KNEW that she was supposed to meet me. Her friend tried hooking me up with her. Well, she never showed up. That put her friend in a bad mood and Robin wasn't too pleased either. It was still better than sitting home, but I put in a lot of time and effort. Finally, we went over to where she works. The plan we came up with, looked good on paper, but when we actually went through with it...well...it could've gone a lot better. There was no formal introduction, which might have made things better. In fact, the plan was to NOT tell her that I was the guy she was supposed to meet that day. Well, that didn't work too well. She STILL doesn't know it was me. Also, last week her grandparents died. So, our timing was way off. As of right now, I don't know what's going on. I don't know if I should pursue this one or call my boy, Cody's girlfriend and see what she has for me. Cody's girl, Kelcie said she has a girl for me to meet as well. Right now, Kelcie's doing a lot better than Robin and our friends are, but it's not their fault. Hopefully, I'll know what the hell is going on, next week.
